12in ALEX OVECHKIN Resin Statue

This resin statue was created to commemorate the achievement of Alex Ovechkin for passing record for the most goals in the NHL held by Wayne Gretzky for so long. We wanted to show his celebration to express the excitement in both Alex and NHL fans. Processed and cut by my supervisor Owen and digitally painted by my coworker Dalen. Sculpted and modeled using 3ds Max and ZBrush. Used Illustrator to extract svg files and used in ZBrush to create meshes for the patches. Used IMM brushes for stitches and patterns.
