McFarlane Toys Dragons Series

Dragons that I helped sculpt for the McFarlane Toys Dragon lineup.

Dragon 1 was the 2nd out of the series but my first dragon that I worked on. We had three different heads and the base was constructed pvc which was done by my coworker as we worked together. Used a combo of IMM Brushes and custom brushes to get the scales and armor scales. Was thinking of more of metal shields of scales to give the story that the dragon was a warrior type base.

Dragon 2 was supposed to be the next released dragon in the series but due to budget constraints we never went forward with it. The idea was to show the dragon awakening from a deep sleep and rising. So there is all this moss and foliage covering the dragons body but also wanted to show motion, as if the dragon is standing up from its slumber.

Dragon 3 was a concept of an ice dragon. My idea was to have the dragon made or given the impression to look like an elemental ice dragon defending its keep. Used IMM Brushes for the icicles. This one was never released.
